Newrybar is a lovely village about 70km from Gold Coast Airport and approximately 45 minutes drive.
Perfect spot to stop off for lunch at Harvest Café, stock up on local produce and gourmet items from Harvest Deli, clothes shop at Driftlab then wander across the road to Country House Antiques for a browse into yesteryear.
Newrybar is a township 18km from the more famous Byron Bay and about 15 minutes drive. Bangalow is another surprise between the two. If you like a quieter pace than Byron and have had enough surfing, swimming and partying, have a penchant for top notch gourmet food and shopping, then Bangalow and Newrybar are by far the way to go! They definitely are my favourites. I will write up a day trip journal on Bangalow at a later date!
