Well over the last few days I have connected with quite a few bloggers that I didn’t previously know. It has made me feel part of an intimate community and something which I didn’t expect when I first signed up for Blogging 101 but I assume the organisers knew exactly what we needed to do and that was to connect with others in the village here!
As I haven’t done the last couple or so of assignments I thought it best to acknowledge some of those people that I have found and put a link back to their websites. An all in one assignment for late bloomers! A side comment – I would just like to thank WordPress for having the tab – “Comments I have made”, smart move!
Firstly A Boy Named Sue who originally contacted me first but so glad he did. His about page just leaves you wanting to know more. He has led such an interesting and varied life so far that I do hope he delves back into his past experiences and gives us some insight into his past journeys as well as his new ones and even though he says its not a photo blog I’m hoping to see more of his work. Even so his writing creates a wonderful story and leaves you waiting for the next chapter.
Secondly Lyrallya who has an old head on young shoulders. She takes me back to my youth and is energetic and smart. I’m putting my feet into her shoes for a young lady’s experience from the other side of the world… and strangely enough it was on this page that I met two other interesting people so she has been a remarkable conduit.
Thirdly, Lovehappynotes who I connected with after reading one of her blogs about a bad day she was having on the internet , so in this wonderful blogging world, we touched base and commiserated with each other. Another energetic writer who bears watching.
Lastly but by no means least, Janey, a fellow Aussie who lives in Turkey and has some interesting stories to tell living in a foreign land with The Turk (her husband)! After having travelled to Turkey and from my own adventures there I have nothing but admiration for her and cannot wait to hear more. Love does conquer all apparently and I wish her all the best, then I wish it for me. I will live vicariously in her shoes for a while too.
There are a lot of other people that I have met recently after starting Blogging 101 and they have been very supportive to me. I’m only sorry I couldn’t mention all of you but give you all a big blogging hug!
Now its drink’s time so I must go before I get too sentimental. Cheers
What is the lovely green drink – please don’t tell me it’s grass. 🙂

Its 30mls midori, 30mls vodka 30mls pineapple juice, very sweet with a kick! Let me know if you like them. Some other recipes use other alcohol but this is the best.

[blush] Awwww, Kaz. Thanks so much for the kind words. It is very humbling and much appreciated. Thank you. Well, I hope I can add another post soon. I’ve been so busy this weekend catching up on work around the house that can’t be done during the work week. Will post those pics I promised soon.
