Continuing on from my last post on my weekend away in Brisbane, we based ourselves in Redcliffe overnight. It is a popular seaside resort suburb of Brisbane situated on the beautiful Moreton Bay.
A fabulous community with very welcoming people. A wonderful area that takes full advantage of the outdoors lifestyle. Dotted along the foreshore of Moreton Bay were numerous wooden shelters where you could sit and stare out into the water for hours. There were also a few piers with many people fishing and crabbing off them. One pier had shelters all along with numerous sinks for scaling fish, very popular with the fishermen. There were quite a few walkways and bicycle tracks were plentiful along the Bay as well. We had fantastic weather and everyone it seems was out and about, whether it was on the water or in one of the numerous restaurants.
They even had a market on the Sunday we were there with various market stalls full of interesting goodies.
We arrived Saturday afternoon ready for a sunset and then on Sunday we arose for a great sunrise with the tide going out showing a different scene from the day before and everyone and their dog out on the mudflats getting exercise.
Photographers heaven.

Yet another lovely gallery of photos, Karen! The shots of the piers make me want to kick back with a margarita 🙂 Love the tone and perspective of the images from the mudflats! As for the market shots, what’s not to love about shopping 😉

As usual Stacy you make my day 🙂 Thanks so much for your support and wonderful feedback!
PS I used to love margaritas until an unfortunate overdose of Tequila in my younger days and now cannot even look at one but a mojito would probably be almost as nice.

I hardly comment, but i did some searching and wound up here Redcliffe and surrounds | daysandmonths.
And I actually do have a couple of questions for you if you don’t mind.
Could it be just me or does it give the impression like a few of the comments come across like they are written by brain dead visitors?
😛 And, if you are writing on other sites, I would like to keep up
with anything fresh you have to post. Could you list
of every one of all your communal sites like
your twitter feed, Facebook page or linkedin profile?
