Sunday Stills led me to my trip to France and Italy for my entries into this weeks challenge.
One is the entrance way to Villa Cimbone on the Amalfi Coast in Italy which had an enormous wooden doorway which then led you into the wonderful villa with magnificent views.

The other is a lovely entranceway in Menerbes France. I only have a simple white front door, wouldn’t you love to have an entry way like one of these?

As soon as I saw the first one I just knew it would be France. Nobody does ‘distressed’ woodwork quite like the French. Lovely!
