On The Gold Coast we are in winter at present, although most of Australia would think “its not really winter on the Gold Coast” as our winter temperatures have plummeted to 5oC minimum at worst and about 23oC on average during the day. This can be, in some parts of the world, their summer temperatures and I would be the first to say we don’t do it tough here in winter, although we do rug up and have our warm winter woollies on!
Pretty much all year around I could take this picture but it just happens it was the middle of summer and there were a lot of people at Snapper Rocks when the big surf was on. I was lucky enough to be there on one of the big crashing wave days.
This photo truly reflects what summer lovin’ is here on the Gold Coast and what it means to me, where its a surfers paradise most days and swimmers pretty much 100% of the time.
