Sunday Stills Next Challenge: Face time

Being a landscape person you could imagine how hard it was this week to come up with a face…  I have no actual faces as such but then thought about my trip to Sydney, there was a face or two I could use that was a bit out of the ordinary.  Not the best shot as I was on a ferry and the light was fading BUT still a face.

Luna Park is an iconic landmark on the foreshores of Sydney Harbour on the north side just a smidge over from the Harbour Bridge.  It has been operating since 1935, but there was a time that it closed for a time after a tragic accident but hasn’t looked back since then putting in place a number of safety procedures.

For more photos of this challenge head over to Eds Sunday Stills.  It will be interesting!

  6. I took a similar shot a couple of weeks ago but it wasn’t as good as yours. Great take on the challenge. I had no difficulty in finding faces for mine but didn’t blog it until today. 🙂

  7. Fantastic capture, despite the fading light and moving ferry, and great take on a “face” challenge! I think the composition is perfect – love the off-angle of the face; not having the whole toothy grin doesn’t detract at all – we know it’s there 🙂
