Weekly Photo Challenge: Zig Zag

Tough challenge this week…. but I was away in Sydney last week and just yesterday was fortunate enough to walk along the headland between Bronte Beach and Coogee beach at which time I took a lot of photos… here is one that loosely describes zigzagging – the walkway between Bronte & Clovelly zigzags along the headland.

How fortunate to have wonderful councils that have made this a nature friendly way to appreciate the beauty of our coastline.  It was a warm winters day but with icy winds but this didn’t deter all the runners and people taking their dogs for a walk.  It was a busy area but so beautiful.  I highly recommend this walk to anyone.

I will be doing a post shortly on some of the tidal pools along the way which is why I decided to do the walk, but along the way I came away with much more.

    • Hi Susi, your very welcome, it was fantastic! My first time walking around there and unfortunately I was time limited as I wanted to walk on to Maroubra…maybe next time. I was so pleasantly surprised!

  3. This Zig Zag theme was very hard! I had to search for a while through my photos before coming up with something. On another note, I have a blogging question. Do you ever get notifications where someone has pinged you and then you go to there blog and the post is just a really long list of links to blogs? What is this all about? Do you accept these requests? Who does this and for what purpose? Thanks! 🙂

    • Sometimes but it’s usually people that have had a photo in the same challenge and they put everyone else down in their blog as a pingback. If it looks really odd and not legit mark as spam but check it out thoroughly before doing that which I am sure you’d do. If their blogs only ever consist of pingbacks then that is weird. I don’t have time to do all that. It is weird. lol re spelling mistake, I know how that would bug you hehe! 🙂

  5. Now THAT’s a walkway! Perfect for the challenge, Karen. When I zoomed in to see the details, I was incredibly surprised by what looks like a cemetery on the hillside – am I seeing that correctly? If so, wonderful resting place for those souls.

Have to chime in on the pingback question — I don’t approve if the list is enormous. When the list is shorter (say a few dozen), I’m more likely to approve it, but not always. Depends on the context of the list. (Of course, if it’s a blogger I know, then that would be different, but that being said, I can’t recall anyone who I follow doing this…)
