One of my favourite colours is lime and its different shades and nuances. I use it as an accent in my house and limes are one of my favourite fruits used in Asian dishes and a good old G&T in the summer. Perfect fruit, perfect colour.

Good colour contrast in this photo, the limes hit you in the eye.

Thanks Claudette. It is the more prominent colour that’s for sure. 🙂

What a wonderfully creative photo, Karen. Using the textured overlay was an inspired choice (works well with the scale AND the brown on the limes), and love the spot of turquoise in the background. Have to admit it took me a few seconds to grasp G&T and then I had to laugh — I’m a wine drinker, so that’s my excuse and I’m sticking with it 🙂

Limes are a lovely fruit! Although I don’t use them in too much myself. After reading your post, maybe I should… 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

love the lime colors. The scale also interested me. Any story on that?

Thanks Jasmine, the scales don’t really have a story as such. They are not a family hand me down. They are old and I bought them on ebay. I love old scales. 🙂
