This week Leanne and Laura are celebrating 26 weeks in for the Monochrome Madness challenge. Happy 26th! We could either send in a black and white photo as usual or a photo that looks black and white but is actually in colour (does that make sense?).
Perfect I thought. I had just the photo! I was in Sydney a few weeks ago and just happened to take a photo that was in the colour palette of black and white. It was in one of the laneways in the CBD near Crown Street. How fortuitous!! I really liked this street art and also the fact that the cement and gravel driveway matched in with the spots on the dog.
For the challenge I cropped it in so it was black and white with a few pink spots to show I didn’t press the B&W switch in Lightroom! I also did a light vignette to darken the wall and highlight Spot a bit more.
Beautiful dog and image 😎

Very cool. I photographed some street art in Bondi that would also have been perfect for this challenge but didn’t use it. 🙂

Thanks Sue.. Hopefully we will get to see some of your street art in a post? I like the one you entered this week though, thinking outside the box. I haven’t had time to comment yet on MMs post. 🙂

No worries. I’m not 100% sure with it but it was a fun experiment. I will get to a street art post at some stage I am sure. 🙂
