Weekly Photo Challenge: Adventure – in Positano

Positano – adventure enough for me.  When on the Amalfi coast my friend and I set off from Positano to Ravello up in the mountains.  We hired a driver and this sporty car to take us there.  We felt like movie stars as everyone stopped and stared at us.  In the end we starting waving to people who were friendly enough to wave back.  Only problem the rattan seats, I worried what my derriere would be like on our return but managed to come back safely with everything intact!  It sure was an adventure.   I will post more of this in my series:  Trip of a Lifetime.  See Trip of a Lifetime I, Trip of a Lifetime II, Trip of a Lifetime III for previous adventures.

  4. I’ve been to Positano but in the confines of a bus. 🙂 I can only imagine the fun in this sporty little, open car. Wow.

  7. I was fortunate enough to visit Positano back in 2009 and I remember the winding roads up the Amalfi Coast to get there. So seeing that those chains are the only “safety” device in that adorably cute car just made me glad your trip was a safe one 😉 Fun story – definitely a great adventure!

    • I didn’t remember us having a problem even though its a small car and it was a long haul upwards… it seemed to go okay. It was such fun This area is a must see if you are ever in Italy, so lovely I would go back again. Thanks again for your comments and stopping by my blog Dunelight, much appreciated.
