Salutation to Spring

Here in the southern hemisphere we have just entered the door to summer, and nature at its best – Spring.

So as a tribute to this wonderful season I have put together a mosaic of flowers taken at the magnificent Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay last year.

  5. Lovely photos of lovely subjevts. Especially like the little b & w rose (which gives me feelings of quite reflection) on the top row and the last photo on the bottom of the Fuchsia.

    • Thanks Claudette, yep sometimes even though a flower is so vibrant in colour it takes on a new meaning in black and white. Glad you had that feeling from it. Unfortunately I don’t possess a macro else they may have been sharper. The fuchsias remind me of Chinese ladies with white conical hats for some reason or nuns… don’t know why. Thanks for your comments as always 🙂

  6. I love flowers. I thought this was your garden and was about to ask how long do you think they will stay in flower for so I can come and take photos. lol
I am still waiting for our tulips to flower. And my irises. The roses haven’t flowered yet either. Still waiting…

  8. And here in the States we’re just beginning our journey into fall! These are beautiful floral photos, Karen, but I have to say my most favorite season of the year is fall with its palette of reds, golds, and oranges and I’m glad we’re moving into it here. I kind of come alive in this season! Enjoy your spring weather – I’m sure it will bring more stunning water and travel shots for us to see 🙂

    • I love Spring too but being on the Gold Coast its tropical so sadly we don’t get the great colour changes as I did when I lived in the colder climes… Cant wait to see some good Fall leaves which you will no doubt take to make me jealous 🙂 Here we get hot or cool no in betweens so I miss the Spring and Autumn which I too love because its not too hot and its not too cold, its perfect 🙂
