Whilst in Sydney a few weeks ago I was staying in a hotel had a view of Sydney Harbour. I wasn’t disappointed. I knew it wouldn’t be right smack bang next to the Opera House knowing where it was situated but it did offer up the Harbour Bridge and a view of Woolloomooloo Bay. It gave me the opportunity to practice my night-time skills whilst in the comfort of my hotel room – that’s the ultimate lazy!
I didn’t use a tripod but the shelf next to the window. It was fairly gritty so as well as a bit of grain from the dark shot I had to contend with the window dirt as well but having said that I was pretty pleased with the result not having done much of this before and with the view I had.
It was on sunrise but technically still night-time right??

Thanks Sue it was an experiment and I wasn’t disappointed with the results considering the dirty window etc. 🙂
