Signs can direct us where to go, but they’re also pieces of art, which reveal much about the time period and culture in which they were made”
This week my signs photo, which I love because it means I am in my happy place, are from Paris. These signs are almost a work of art. They are not just functional but add some “je ne sais pas quoi” to a street scene in Paris.

I have a friend who has just spent a week in Paris doing a street photography course. Her photos have been amazing.

How nice would that be. I spent a half day on a photography tour there but a week would be wonderful, Wouldn’t that be one of the best places to do street photography. Does she have a blog?

No she doesn’t. I have known her for a long time as we met as part of a scrapbook store design team. I might suggest it to her.

Really? Thank you. I was not only on a design team,I regularly had articles and scrapbook layouts published in magazines both in Australia and the U.S. I also designed digital stuff for a couple of U.S. stores and was on a design team for one of them as well and I had a paper, stamp and vellum released in Australia from my designs. I don’t think I was half as good as some of my friends though.
