>Today in the park I came across a man who was sitting on a seat along one of the beautiful tree lined paths in Cook Park, Orange. He was sitting all alone, and looked quite dwarfed by the tall large tree beside him which gave him a sense of isolation.
I found this excerpt from Andrew Blakemore’s poem which I thought appropriate for this photo.
(Please find the link to the complete poem here).
A View From The Park Bench
Upon this bench so old and worn
That’s scrawled and etched on every slat,
And smeared with food from yesterday
Yet still to me so kind,
For here within my solitude
Away from all the toil and spite,
I’ll take my time to look around
While others seem so blind.
I love the way you have used the trees to frame this shot and how the man is lit…great shot

A great interpretation of the theme. I love the way the man is dwarfed by the trees further enhancing the sense of solitude.
