Todays assignment: Mystery
Today, share an image that creates a sense of mystery. A lone mitten on the sidewalk. A trail leading off into the distance. Your dog’s deep brown eyes. Intrigue us with uncertainty.
I don’t think today I fit the bill so much. I do not and have not taken a shot that exudes mystery. This sunset was taken at the golden hour as mentioned but I don’t think its mysterious…. it was taken as seen, at sundown, there were still surfers in the bay waiting for their last wave, as the last rays of the sun stretched across the bay to the base of the surfers hut. It uses the available light softly to just glimpse the surfers and the ripples and I guess creates a mood but mysterious hmm not so sure.

I’m finding it hard to come up with a photo that says “mysterious”. It’s a hard one alright, but your photo captures the mystery of darkness crawling over the ocean and makes us wonder what lies beneath!

beautiful and yes romantic!! The silhouette against the sunset does give it a touch of mystery.
