I have two photos (again that I have posted previously) that spell achievement to me.
They are not outstanding in any way but motivation to keep going. They were my first forays into slow shutter speeds for water, but made me realise I needed to pursue photography further and that I was gaining ground. That achievement has had me out most weekends since and on holidays photographing away, experimenting with different shutter speeds and depths of field, perspective etc, some days I think yes I have reached another level and other days one step back…. that the beauty of photography…
So to one persons view it wouldn’t be an achievement but to me it is or a step up to another level might be more accurate… and I am still stepping. Not sure how many levels the game of photography has (hopefully not as many as candy crush!!) but as long as I keep climbing every time it means I am learning more and achieving more!

These photos are stunning! The one with the driftwood on Fingal Beach is amazing, the colours, the shadow – you got it! Good enough to hang on any wall in my opinion.

Gee thanks Barb, I was pleased with them but a good photographer might think differently BUT it was a catalyst to keep me motivated. I appreciate your compliment very much 🙂

To me the photos are outstanding. I remember seeing them on your blog for the first time and being taken aback by their beauty. It is surely an achievement, and one I’m not capable of…

They are stunning photos…..I’m especially drawn to the golden beach
I hope you’re right that photography doesn’t have quite as many levels as Candy Crush…..I’m on a steep and ever ascending learning curve

The water – smooth as silken sheets, yet telling me it’s in such a rush to get there. Absolutely gobsmacking lovely.

I always look forward to your comments on mine, figured I could at least try and do the same for you. It isn’t, obviously, because I like your photos – hehehehehe

I adore that driftwood one. That should be marketed to every hotel, motel and resort in your neck of the woods. 🙂
