38 weeks wow….how quickly that has gone….
This week I have a picture from my trip to South Australia (yet again).
Victor Harbour is a seaside town about an hours drive from Adelaide. Another beautiful spot for sunrise photography, with great surfing beaches, picturesque landscape and wildlife.
In Victor Harbour there is an old causeway bridge that links Victor Harbour to Granite island. It used to have a horse drawn tram running up and down it. I think during tourist season it is there but not at the time I was, which was sunrise and sunset, go figure!
Granite Island hosts a colony of penguins which at the present time they are fighting to maintain the population of. The worst predator is the seal, who kill them, not for eating but for play. Also at different times of the year the southern right whale can be seen around Encounter Bay.
For some history on the tramline go to Wikipedia here
For more monochrome madness please click here for MM38. Every Wednesday Leanne Cole and Laura Macky host a black and white spectacular where we are all invited to participate.
Wonderful perspective !
