Lemon is the colour of well a lemon but less obvious I have selected Riomaggiore – one of the five towns of the Cinque terre, Italy taken from our villa on dusk. The lovely painted houses illuminated under the street lights give up a lemony hue.

On my wish list! I wonder when I can make it happen 🙂

I know the feeling Amy, how lucky to have been three times. I think my favourite place of all was Vernazza with its church down near the water and its nice bay then Monterosso as there was a nice bar there that had Galliano and snacks so we kept going back….. oh the memories, which was your favourite? 😀

Thank you for bringing back the memories. 🙂 And, the hiking trail from Monterosso to Vernazza is gorgeous.

I have a story about that maybe in my next Trip of a Lifetime post… the longest trail in history with a heavy backpack and wet weather…. I loved the end of it, because it was the end lol and the view of Vernazza from the hilltop. 🙂

My friend said I hear its only one of the quick trails…she lied!!! I had been shopping and had my pack full with my camera and gift….. anyways at one stage I had to sit to get my heart rate back down else I had a stroke…… its still so clear to me 🙂

Oh, how I would love to wake up to this view every day and witness the sunset there every night. Gorgeous colors, great street scene – just a lovely capture all the way around, Karen!

Thanks Stacy it was hand held so a bit blurry. How I would love to go back now with what I know and recapture bigger and better and take my tripod! I guess we are lucky to pass by a place once in our lifetime so I shouldn’t complain too much 🙂

Been there too! I like this photo very much because it is not the typical postcard scene of Riomaggiore! Thanks for this post!
