Greenmount Beach, Gold Coast

This weeks photo is a lot closer to home and was taken at Greenmount Beach, Gold Coast just on sunset. I was hoping for more colour in the sky but it was too cloudy and I was a little late venturing out. I was otherwise quite happy with the result. I will go there again for a few more shots a bit earlier in the afternoon. The sands and landscape has changed quite a bit over the winter period which means I can go back time after time and not have the same shots.

  5. Wow, terrific shot Kaz! I like the way you shot it low down, it gives it good depth looking over to the lit up buildings. Superb!

    • Thanks Barb, I was pretty pleased myself, there are a few rocks with water sitting at their base and I’m finding them very interesting and photogenic 🙂

      • I know what you mean, they stand out in the photo, not because they are at the forefront, but because they seem t be shouting “Look at me, look at me”! Just my opinion.

      • I think the water makes “just a rock” more interesting and gives it some depth so to speak 🙂 not sure myself but I like this one… and I don’t often feel that. Thanks Barb always nice to hear your thoughts 🙂
