Pine of course reminds me of trees with their spiky needles The closest I have come to those trees are some lovely bushy tree tops taken from a balloon flying low over Chenonceau chateau in the Loire Valley, France. Glorious trees some of which were pine spread like a carpet on the landscape looking from above. The chateau displayed in all its beautiful glory nestled amongst the trees.
What a beautiful vista looking down from the quiet skies photographing then trying to just take it in with my eyes, then quickly photographing again so I wouldn’t miss anything. We went past paddock after paddock of sunflowers and then tilled paddocks, and managed to stop in one of the tilled paddocks, straw and dirt flying through our hair as the French like to stop their balloons with the basket on the side which meant we were in a supine position hanging on for dear life with all sorts of terra firma swimming around in the air.
Lovely memories of the most picturesque place I have seen. Happy days 🙂

Thanks Barb, we would have laughed hysterically except for the flying debris in the air. We started off the same way lying down in the basket. Interesting way to go! 🙂

impressive. Another reason to take a balloon ride, in the future. I will add to my to-do list.
