Taupe is a colour that goes with everything, well if you buy shoes that colour anyway.
The dictionary classes it as a moderate to dark brownish gray, sometimes slightly tinged with purple, yellow, or green.
In nature taupe abounds in the skin or fur of an animal. On my recent travails to Kangaroo Island I captured a few photos that convey that colour.
