One word photo challenge: Persimmon

Another new entry into Jennifer Wells one word challenge this week for the colour Persimmon.

Persimmon is a dull Orange colour.

A few months ago I was walking along Rainbow Bay beach and captured this very colourful sunset.  Its not called Rainbow Bay for nothing as there are some spectacular sunsets here of differing colours.

  2. What spectacular colours. I love the composition too. The sunset being reflected in the wet shoreline is fabulous.

  3. Gorgeous, I am so envious as our sunsets are generally of the washed soft kind.

  4. That’s a beautiful photo. Persimmon is also a very tasty fruit, but we call it afarsemon in our house
(while at the local vegetable market they call it kaki fruit and at the local supermarket they use the term persimmon).

  6. Ooooh, I want to be there! Gorgeous, Kaz (okay, I must admit, I really love your nickname and thought if it was ok with you, I’d start 2015 by calling you Kaz instead of Karen – kinda shaking things up, you know. So, ok with you?) Happy New Year, by the way. And welcome back 😀
