Last weekend I decided to head south for a visit along the coast towards Ballina. Along the way there were many beaches to see and take pictures of.
Boulder Beach always has something different each visit depending on the tide.
Last time I was here I did a BW photo of the water spraying over all the rocks which I was quite pleased with. This time the tide was up further so I couldn’t play again with the rocks but still liked the wildness of the coastline and took this photo.
Boulder Beach is just south of Lennox Head on the Northern NSW coast, one of many magical beaches. True to its name it is full of rocks and boulders rather than sand which adds to its character I think.
Looks surreal, the green colors in the water have got something happening there.

Ooooh…lovely, Kaz. Interesting mix of softness and hard lines.

Thanks Katrina. Yes you’re right. It’s that kind of place. Harsh rocks, harsh weather, soft stones and the slow motion creates softness in parts of the water. A bit of a mixed bag!

OMG what an absolutely amazing image! That is gorgeous, I love the darkness coming through the image even though it’s not dark. Kaz, is your house covered in awesome photos of gorgeous beaches and stunning landscapes?? 😄
