This week the challenge leaves the door wide open, so much so I was perplexed as to what to post. Not being a candid shooter with more of a landscape bent I of course have opted for the latter.
When in Italy a few years ago I was walking one of the trails of the Cinque Terre (the longest I might add), I turned a bend tired and almost in a trance waiting for it to finish when this vista came into view. It suddenly woke me up and made me realise why I was there, for this moment. We still had a ways to walk but this sparked me up and I had my camera at the ready as we neared the end of the trail.
A beautiful town in a wonderful country…. Vernazza

Yep, that expresses you well, Karen. That is also a different angle to most of the shots of Vernazza. We are glad to know it is fully recovered from the devastating storms in October 2011.

Thank you. Yes terrible about v the floods. Only one person was killed and he owned the Gelato shop i think in Vernazza sadly. His son owned one here in northern rivers and it was because of his pictures that i went there and visited the shop.
