This week I have a photo from last weekend just after the sun went down at South Kingscliff Beach.
It was a little eerie and dark all of a sudden and I thought I should leave but glad I got this shot in before I left.

This is beautiful, and the lamp in the background adds a little spark of warmth, safety, protection. The colours are so soft, wonderful photo Karen.

Thanks Claudette i like your description very much. It’s interesting what it evokes in each of us as i didn’t get warmth but eeriness so love that you’ve shared your feeling.

Perhaps it’s eerie to you as you were actually there – I view it from the safety of my home 🙂

I knew it was a good shot, but when I clicked to enlarge it, it really showed the wonder that you caught there. It’s a fantastic capture, and that little light shining so brightly just completes the picture. Fabulous! I’m glad you lingered a while, it paid off.

Almost feel unreal. And the light house from far brings more dimension and color to the photo. Love this!
