This week’s colour is Mauve in Jennifer Wells’ one word photo challenge. I have posted this beautiful flower before with a hint of bokeh behind it, and as I like it so much its coming out again for mauve. Although the predominant colour is purple in this flower, there are hints of mauve as well. I took this at Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay in 2013. If ever you have the chance to visit it is well worth it with so much beautiful flora from all over the world to discover.
So glad you brought it out again, Kaz. The flower, and your shot of it, is just gorgeous!

This is really beautiful. I love how the flower is coming towards us out of the blur/darkness.
