This week my photo is from Wollongong Harbour on an overcast afternoon with a lovely wooden jetty just sitting there ready for a photograph.
Perfect composition and dramatic clouds. Awesome monochrome madness. Very special image.

Oh, that has such a moody feel to it, Kaz. It’s been years since I lived around Wollongong that I don’t even know where that would be. Is that sad?

Thanks Sonia, I like moody and the skies were definitely that the whole weekend we were there. To make the best of it I did mostly black and whites 🙂

I think B&W really works with ‘the Gong’, because I always associate it with all my trips to very ‘grey’ Port Kembla 😉

Thanks. It was such a dull day and my colour shot was pretty bland really except for some colour in the rocks it was pretty much grey…. it actually looked brighter in B&W 🙂
