This week my photos is from the farm. I hope I get to put these in some posts before I dribble them out one at a time.
On a trip back to the farm from Gilgandra we saw some sheep in a nearby paddock with lambs. I always love to see lambs, they are so cute. It was a bit stormy in the background and I thought it might make a nice rural photo.
I changed it to black and white to see what it looked like and I quite liked it that way. Rural is something different for me as I usually take coastal scenes and quite liked the change.

This photo works wonderfully well in B & W, Karen. The lambs are silhouetted against the background and almost seem to have a halo around some of them.

Were’s the “love” button when you need it?? Kaz, the tones and clarity are just remarkable. The sheep seem to jump off the page. Beautiful shot!

Gee thanks Stacy, I was playing around with shallow DOF and quite liked the effect and when I put it in B&W I was worried I went too far….. 🙂
