I seem to have turned into a rural photographer, photographing anything on four legs in the countryside. I am fascinated with these animals.
I was especially attracted to this rather pregnant cow in the paddock. It was late afternoon and the sun was casting a yellow haze on the grass and this poor cow was just staring at me wondering what I was up to but couldn’t really gather enough energy to move away. Luckily I was only shooting with my Canon camera.
I felt she was saying ” Do I look fat in this”?
Love cow photos !

haha well I wouldn’t know but yes she didn’t look like she could get much bigger. Probably had swollen ankles as well 🙂

I love cows, I think they are great subjects for photos Kaz, so I think it is great. Have started doing any portrait ones yet, closeups, they can look amazing as well.

Thanks Leanne. Close up you say… hmmm maybe Ill get a good telephoto so I’m not too close physically 😉 I probably could have when we were there as they were pretty tranquil really.

I look forward to seeing your images of those, could be good. They do have lovely faces. Hold your hand out like you have something for them to eat and they will come to you, though I often find cows can be very social and will just come to you, they can be friendly.

To which you responded, “No, honey. You just have a wonderful glow about you.” Such a sweet photo.
