This week’s theme is water for the first Wednesday of the month. They say its the journey on the way to your destination that’s important, which we found out was the truth on Sunday. We were heading to Protestor Falls and decided at the last minute to stop off at Rocky Creek Dam. This area is stunning. It looks more like a beautiful lake than a dam with waterlilies hugging the shoreline and tree laden hills in the background. The water was so still… I could have stayed there all day….
I love the black and white for different reasons to the colour, but I think this time around the colour one might win out with others?
For more water challenge photos in black and white please go to Leanne Cole’s website and click on MM2-13. Leanne hosts this challenge every week and it is worth a good browse at all the lovely black and white photos that are put forth each week.
Gotta say I prefer the color this time, but the B/W is lovely too.

For me it’s almost always colour, but especially where flowers are concerned. Lovely shot 🙂
