Quote of the Day

Continuing on my 3 quotes in three weeks (being nominated by Jane Morley – View from a French Hillside).

One of the things in life that sustains me and keeps my dreams alive is to travel.  I love to explore new places and even revisit old ones, to walk around a corner not knowing what is there and to discover something new.  Different cultures, languages, and foods enrich my life.  Travel shows me the bigger picture.

I found this quote a long time ago and feel it is so appropriate.

  6. Great post Kaz and an intriguing quotation especially given the era it was written. I don’t suppose back in the 4th/5th century they had any idea of the scale of the world they lived in, the idea of balloon flights and crossing continents not even things imagined. How the world has shrunk since then!
