Watermarking My Way – Reblogged onto Daysandmonths – by Leanne Cole

Brighton beach shed – a touch of Australiana

This week is topsy turvy as I have been away for a few days down south in Victoria.

I have been driving around with Leanne Cole along the Great Ocean Road and a few places in between. I had a wonderful time and have only now a few days later sorted through some photos which I will post over the coming weeks.

I have just bought a new computer and realised, after processing my photos, that my old watermark is not on my new machine and all attempts at putting it on have so far yielded nothing. I am sure if I sit down long enough I will manage to get something on them.

This all reminded me of a tutorial of Leanne’s about doing your own watermark with your own personal signature. This would be great so I have taken the time to sit down and read through her tutorial and have reposted it here for everyone’s viewing pleasure.

If you take photos, regardless of what you think of them, they are your property so anything you can do to prevent them being taken or copied without knowing they are your property is worthwhile.

Here is Leanne’s tutorial. Let me know how you go with this. I will be doing it at my earliest convenience.

Leanne has also done a more comprehensive post in DPS (Digital Photography School) so please go to that link as well.  It goes through different ways to do a watermark – How to watermark your images.

  2. Thanks for sharing this post. By the way: there are some pretty nice Boxed down in Mornington too (Mills Beach). If you head down during the week the beach is basically empty.
