Dynamic Range – Showcasing women in photography. A new e-magazine about photography.

This magazine has been produced by women in a male dominated photographic world. It is for women but they are also hoping men will get a lot of value out of the articles as well. It goes on to say that women are under-represented out in our photography community and when you look at photography magazines, there are usually no women contributors. While this was the reason the magazine came to fruition, focus will be on sharing relevant articles on photography with everyone – men and women.
It is the brainchild of Leanne Cole with collaboration from a few different photographers writing pertinent articles with magnificent photography. That is the first thing that you notice – the quality of the photography, it is outstanding.
A lot of hard work has gone into this magazine but I feel it was well worth it.

Street Photography – Sharon Morris

It was taken by Mel Sinclair, I don’t know her but she has written a fabulous article in the magazine. She writes as well as takes photographs and by her description you feel like you are there as well. 🙂

Mere male’s comment is that too few women get the recognition they deserve. 😦
It worries me that the Government is already short of women in both houses, and yet today’s paper mentions men lining up for Bronwyn Bishop’s seat (if/when she decides not to stand again). 😦 Maybe women are just too smart to want to be involved in politics!
