Monochrome Madness 2 – 24

Well this week’s MM came around so quickly I almost didn’t get my photo in (thanks be to those that reminded me!!).

I sometimes have a couple that I like in black and white and put them in a folder ready to go… not this week, it was actually madness getting it converted and sent in, a matter of minutes.

Cape Otway was the first stop on a wonderful trip to Victoria with Leanne Cole (press the link here to see other MM photos this week).  We had a great few days there on the Great Ocean Road.  The day we went to Cape Otway it was dark and brooding, threatening to storm at any minute.  Actually it was perfect!  A great rough ocean with winds gusting set the scene for our day there.  To my eye they are some of my best photos with a bit of attitude and wildness.

If you are interested here is the link to my Cape Otway post where it will show up in colour.

For this shot, I waited for the people to come back around, hunched against the wind to add some scale to the photo.  A beautiful place which I would like to return to one day and I hope its another stormy, gusty day at that.
