Daily Post Weekly Challenge: Monochromatic

Unaccustomed as I am to monochromatic photography (not) you could imagine how pleased I was this weekend for the challenge to give us this subject.  Then I realised it was not only black and white but as monochrome suggests one colour of varying tones.  Hmm harder yet.  I’ll have to dig deeper….

While I love black and white most I did search back for some more photos that in essence only had the one colour with tones.

  7. I’m running out of superlatives, Karen, especially when everyone else gets in ahead of me. The upside is that the lawns are mown and it is too beautiful to be inside today 😉

    • Ahh thanks so much Ken. I’m glad you got out to do the lawns and yes it was too beautiful to be inside. I quickly did the challenge and was up and out. I was so surrised with the comments and likes when I got home and am only now responding to everyone. Thanks again 🙂

    • Thanks very much Jane. I really liked the airstream caravan abstract too. My partner loved the bales of hay (not so much myself I still need to be in the french countryside to perfect that photo… 🙂 ) and spot the dog was already in black and white when I found him just in time for another challenge. Thanks for your comments 🙂
