Redland Bay is about 35km south-east of Brisbane.
Whilst there visiting there a few months ago, we decided to have a look around the bay. I wished I had of been there when the tide was in with the very old pier we saw but you get what you are given and must make the best of it.
It is a lovely area with the pier, lighthouse and a great fish and chip restaurant within a very short distance of each other. Nice day out with a lovely friend exploring the area.
Love that first shot of the broken pier Karen.

Brilliant photos Kaz, especially the lighthouse 🙂 One crazy thought, I’d never really associated Australia with fish n chips, but it seems obvious now I’ve just read your post!

I’d say you did brilliantly with what you were given, Kaz! I especially love the lone tree and its reflection in the second one – and beautiful coloring as well.
