This week the challenge is to show where your happy place is, away from the maddening crowds, your place to unwind and destress.
Simple, its anywhere I am taking photographs. As soon as I have my camera in hand I am in my happy place. So this week’s challenge is a breeze. Showing photos I may not have done before not so easy.
After careful consideration I decided to show some of my photos from a much loved travel destination that always puts me in my happy place just thinking about it and going there catapults me into a much higher level of happy – PARIS!
For more “Happy Place” photos please go to the daily challenge here.
What a great selection of photos. You really captured lots of different aspects of Paris with these images.

Isn’t it great that it is easy for you to do the thing that takes you to your “Happy Place”. Lovely photos by the way Karen.

Thanks Claudette, yes its nice to have a passion that you can do relatively easily at home or outside of and enjoy it and simply be. It must be a little like when you create your wonderful poems 🙂

Hi Karen my poetry often comes from an unhappy place and then gets twisted to try and make it something else. Other times it is quirky – not sure I have ever written an completely happy one!

Great quote “My happy place is anywhere I am taking photographs”.
And Paris is one of the cities where I’d like to live.
