That’s something I wish I had the confidence to do, just to photograph people in the street doing everyday things. Those sorts of photos may not be particularly interesting now, but in the future they are amazing. I love looking at street photography from the 1950’s.

Youre right Andy its in the years to come where we find these will be more fascinating. I know going through a friends fathers photos how amazed we were at the change in landscape, fashion etc and I wish I did more of it 🙂

I used to think that way too. We lived in China for 5 years and I missed so many things because I didn’t want to take the photos… then I figured why not? Sometimes you just have to go for it.

That’s so true CTB, I must just bite the bullet when it comes to street scenes!

And just think will they ever see you again? Ha ha. Sometimes I would motion and ask if it was OK… or buy a small something if it was in a market. But then people snapped pics of me and I got brave and figured why not? I did get creative in snapping pics and making it look like I was taking a photo of hubby or doing something else. 🙂

That sounds like a great idea to get started, to pretend I’m photographing someone or something else!! 🙂

Your right, the more people there are the easier it is and its just getting used to doing it. Soon it will become second nature.. I suspect 🙂

Yes and I was embarrassed at first, but thought they won’t see me again… sometimes I just snapped and ran, other times I would motion to ask if it was OK, or just got creative in pretending to do something else.
