The view of Mount Warning is visible from different sides of northern NSW, from where I stood it looked like the profile of an old man reclining. From the lovely Cudgen Creek at sunset it stood strong against the competition from the sunset and the water at dusk.

You aroused my curiosity. Apparently James Cook named it that after coming across Danger Reef shortly after seeing the distinctive peak on 16th May 1770.
