This week Jennifer Wells’ theme is Winter. It doesn’t snow here and the weather does not get extreme enough to show in a photo. In winter this year I was down in Victoria where it does get chilly and went out on the Great Ocean Road for a few days.
Here at Cape Otway it was stormy and cold. I had on clothes that didnt normally see the light of day unless I went on a holiday skiing somewhere. I havent done that in years. I dusted off my winter wear that usually sits at the back of the cupboard and off I went.
No snow here just blustery, winter conditions with a lovely storm for mood. The winds can be so strong the brush is usually bent and twisted in one direction due to the constant pounding it receives.
For more winter photos and maybe some snow if you are lucky head to Jennifer’s blog here.
Love that red fence, Kaz, especially in the second photo against the misty coastline!

Thanks Stacy I like that one too, such a difference between nature and the bright red lipstick that is the railing 🙂

Great shots Kaz – I’m with Stacy! That second red fence is scrumptious and the lighthouse too!

Great photos Karen 🙂 The view from the lighthouse looking across the cliffs could have been taken in Cornwall!

Such beautiful shots. You’ve captured the fog and stormy sky so beautifully. That light house image is stunning.

Thanks Jennifer so much, it was a great scene to behold and we were very lucky it was stormy. Funny how photographers like a good stormy mood when most tourists want sunshine 🙂

If you can’t go out and enjoy it, at least get a good photo of it 😛
