Still on my outing a couple of weeks ago when I went to Cudgen Creek in Kingscliff. The sun was about to set and I was in the thick of the mangroves trying to chase the shadows of the trees across the water.

Truly lovely — caught the mood, the region, the stillness, the setting sun and the shadows. 🙂

Hobart for two days then bruny island for the day then maybe head down your way overnight or so then off to Derwent, Strahan etc 🙂

I think you will enjoy Bruny – plenty of lovely ocean and coastline vistas for your camera. I actually work in Hobart each week day, so if it makes it easier I could catch up with you there for a cuppa. Although the Huon is worthwhile seeing, I especially love driving down from Huonville to home along the river. Happy and safe travelling.

Jane its in the new Lightroom. If you highlight your photos that you want to put in a pano or HDR, then right click and up near the top its has Merge in….. and pick your poison 🙂

Ah that’s the problem Kaz, not sure which number everyone else is on but mine is Lightroom 4 !!! 🙂

Thats a shame, I am not sure of the number but its Adobe photoshop Lightroom CC, the newest one that you pay monthly for… that was the reason I changed to the new one so I could use the pano and HDR merge. Its $10/month AUD.

Thanks Kaz – I must have a look at these sort of things, I don’t even have Photoshop Elements since my laptop crashed, my Lightroom is OK for most things I want to do but would be fun to see what else is possible!

Funny how everything else changes but the mangroves are probably much the same. Glad it brought back memories 🙂
