Another season is Summer and its the OWPC for this week. Summer the Gold Coast can do and is very good at it. Having a climate that is quite hot in the summer months and perfect in the other seasons with beautiful beaches to cool off at, you can imagine that it is a tourist mecca during those hot months of the year.
The Gold Coast’s motto is: “Sunny one day, perfect the next” which most of the time it is.
If you are not surfing, you might be kite surfing, kayaking or swimming at any number of beaches of the GC or northern NSW.
Alternatively just sitting on the grass reading a book sunbathing or if you’re like me taking pictures of the grass and waves!

Gorgeous Kaz – we’re well into Autumn here now in France although the temperatures are being very kind to us, your beach looks perfect though , I’d be taking pictures of the grass and the sea along with you I think, too beautiful to waste time sunbathing! 🙂

Yes I’m not good at laying still in the sun anymore and my eye wanders to what I can be shooting. I love the autumn and envy you that as well. I will just have to be content with your photos to share your season as you do with mine 🙂

Great photos Kaz, especially the dead wood on the beach 🙂 I like the ‘Gold Coast’ motto, the Scottish equivalent would be “Rain one day, rain again the following day!”

Thanks Andy, yes I love some driftwood in a photo on a beach, i find it has more impact than just sand. The motto is good but sometimes it doesnt live up to it very well when its storm season 😦
