Friday Foto | Safety Cove Tasmania

This weeks photo has already been posted in black and white for Monochrome Madness this week.  I didn’t mind it in black and white but quite like it in colour more I think.  The day was pretty drab so lent itself to B&W as it wasn’t missing too much colour anyway.

  1. I can’t make up my mind Kaz, I really liked your black & white version of this, but because the colours are quite muted, I think I prefer this one 🙂

  2. Yeah, me too. It was a little hard to decide because the other one is so beautiful, but I really do like this one better. Really really nice.

  5. Beautiful – i like the colour. Reminds me of around Hastings Point area in northern NSW with the creeks running into the ocean.

  8. I add my vote for the colour, I think it captures more of what Tassie is. Of course I could be prejudiced since I live here and love it!

  9. I haven’t yet seen your black and white to compare, but I love the muted colors in this, Kaz, and the composition is just so beautiful!

  11. Love the tones of this colour image, even on a grey day. Hope the weather has been kind to you. We’ve loved living in Hobart for past seven months and have just about explored the island. Let me know next time you come to Tassie, would be lovely to meet for a coffee.

    • Thanks Ruth, it has been great if not a little cold but we expected that and dressed accordingly I hear its supposed to snow there soon again!! Will definitely let you know when we come down again, would be great to catch up. There is still a few things to see that we missed 🙂
