Lovely shot Kaz! I have been there and know i isn’t easy to get a good angle, well I couldn’t! Did you use zoom for this pic?
Its an enjoyable walk isn’t it?

Thank you 🙂 It was lovely. We unfortunately followed the signs from Westbury that had us up and down dale on a dirt road for a long while, when on our way out we were only a kilometre or so from the highway!! Enjoyed the walk and the different levels of waterfalls, that was a nice surprise. We did walk outside the lines and went across the other side and managed not to get wet rock hopping. Not many people around which was great.

that’s a snare to others to beware of because we got caught in that too even though our driver was a local and Had been there before but approaching from Westbury, the same as you did, we followed signs and had a laugh when we saw the easy way out!
Just another Tassie tangle. But have you ever followed signs in Ireland?

Glad it happens to the locals as well! I must admit I have compared Tassie roads to Ireland since coming home lol 😆

It gorgeous Barb and not a difficult walk down. There are a few tiers to see on the way down with different levels of waterfalls and then this eye popper at the end. Just take the highway and not the back, long, long dirt road 🙂

Thanks Reinhold. It was the highway to heaven, great description. Between waterfalls (especially cascade) and piers, they are my bliss 🙂 Merry Christmas to you!

Beautiful photo of the falls Kaz. I wondered how you got across the river, we stuck to the path but must go back sometime after heavy rains. The 20 km of dirt road is a bit of a deterrent but worth the effort.

Thanks Ruth, with a bit of maneuvering outside the boardwalk, it was pretty shallow so we skipped over the rocks. More rain would have made that difficult but it would have been magnificent. 🙂
