On our holiday in November we were driving back up to the Gold Coast. We stopped off along the way a couple of times to break the trip up as it can take about 10 to 12 hours straight and we didn’t need to get back in a hurry.
One place we stopped at was Forster/Tuncurry, twin towns joined by a bridge. A lovely area made up of beaches and also the Great Lakes.
We were waiting for the sunset but as usual along our holiday it wasn’t great. But… what we did find was an area on the Tuncurry side where a lot of boats were moored along some rickety old piers (all my Christmases had come at once). I didn’t know where to point the camera. For the first in this series please see my Tuncurry Stillness photo. This is the second in the series.
As the colours were a bit drab in the sky and it was starting to get dark the photo of the river actually sprang to life in black and white.

Love the reflections in b&w. Great shot
