How May I?~by LILLIAN THE HOME POET

It was such an honour to provide one of my photos to Lillian, the home poet who has written a truly wonderful poem around it. Please stop by and introduce yourselves to her body of work.

  3. Karen, I have some words that insisted on being written last night, my daughter thought I was mad when I said I had to write a love story about a tractor (well, it is a little bit). I’m going to send it to you so you can see if it fits with the photos and you are happy for me to post it (i won’t if you don’t think they go together, as I am too respectful of your lovely photo to not do it justice).

    • Claudette I am happy that you go with your “gut”. I wouldn’t begin to tell you how to write a poem. If you feel it fits the way you see the photo then its good enough for me. As I said I would be honoured! 🙂 Cant wait to see it.

      • You are too kind. So it is ok for me to copy the photo off your blog to insert with the poem, and of course I will make sure you get credit attributed and add a link to your original post that inspired my love for tractors 🙂

      • Happy for you to do that, I think the quality is just as good as if I send it to you but if you want me to send it by email just let me know. Were you happy with that shot or did you want a choice from a few tractors???

      • I have based the poem on what that shot made e feel, so I will go with that one thanks, just scrolling through your blog to find it.
